| Homework is a vital part of a child's education reinforcing concepts
learned at school. Please make sure your child has a quiet, well lit place
to
do his/her homework and a regular time each day for study.
The sixth grade homework policy is as follows:
Students who fail to turn in homework on the due date will be assigned a
zero
that day. However,if the completed homework assignment is turned in the next
day, the grade will be changed to an 80. If the student makes no attempt to
complete the late assignment, the student will keep the zero.
All sixth grade students are required to keep an assignment book with daily
homework assignments copied from the board.
Parents can check on homework assignments and test grades daily and need to
sign their child's assignment book over the weekend.
If your child is absent and you wish to pick up homework, email me your
request and I will have the homework in the office by 3 p.m.
