Send text message and email alerts FREE!
TeacherWeb®
recently enhanced all NewsFlash pages. NewsFlash pages allow you to
send text message and email updates to parents and students on your
distribution list. You can now manage your NewsFlash options and
subscribers in a streamline fashion. You can import names individually,
or upload multiple contacts at once. There is also the option of
allowing parents and students to sign-up on their own.
The new
NewsFlash allows you to export your contacts as well. The most
convenient feature is the ability to see all contacts and NewsFlash
pages that you have active. This allows you to easily see who is signed
up for what NewsFlash and make any appropriate changes.

Elementary's PTA is using TeacherWeb® to increase communication with
parents and teachers. Their site is using one of the new template
designs and is very easy to navigate using the menu bar on the left.
Notice

How to add a PowerPoint to your Website
Adding a PowerPoint presentation to your website is very easy. First, make sure you have uploaded the file to your website. Here is an example.
Now, all you need to do it make sure you have an "Enhanced Text" or
"Photo/Docs" page type. If you are not sure or do not have one, it is
very easy to add this page. Just follow the short tutorial video here.
Once
you have either of the pages added, it takes a few clicks to add the
PowerPoint. Preston, now your students can access your PowerPoint
presentations at home!

STUDENT DIGITAL LOCKERS
Starting
this fall, TeacherWeb® will be offering Student Digital Lockers!
Digital Lockers provide online storage for students to store their
homework, projects, and class documents for easy access at school and
home - anywhere with an Internet connection! No longer will students
need to use zip, flash, or other portable storage devices.
Additionally, an Assignment Drop-Box will be included that allows
students to turn in assignments electronically though a secure and
documented connection.
