About The Teacher

Mrs. Hubert has taught Web Mastering for 9 years prior to the 2008-9 school year.  She is the Brazoswood 
Webmaster and oversees the school Web Site.  She has taught other courses including Technology 
Applications Ind. Study, Multimedia, BIMM, and Keyboarding.  She has written curriculum for Web Mastering 
& Multimedia.  She is certified in Technology Applications & Business and has a Business degree.  She is the 
Department Chair for Business & Technology Applications and a Campus Tech Rep.

She loves computers and the creativity of designing web sites, graphic editing, working with Flash, video editing 
and creating animations.  She enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for what she teaches with her classes.  For Web 
students who want another year of Web Mastering, they may wish to apply for Technology Applications Independent 
Study, a class which works on the Brazoswood Web site.  Multimedia students may go on to take Video Tech or Web 
Mastering in order to get more skills they will use in college or careers.  You may contact her by e-mail for

Mission For Web Mastering
This course is designed to teach the student how to use the WWW as a source of information and media files, while
emphasizing the legal and ethical aspects of Web use.  Students will use established design principals in the creation
of WWW pages, using both text-based authoring tools (HTML) and graphical-based authoring tools including FrontPage, Dreamweaver and Flash.  Animations and graphics will be created using Adobe Photoshop/Elements and Flash. Interactivity will be added to Web sites using rollover effects and Javascripts.  This course will satisfy the Technology Applications credit for graduation.
