Dragon Football 09

• Equipment pick up day willl be August 21st in the fieldhouse. The location of the fieldhouse is in the back by the football fields. The 8th grade pick up will be at 8:00 to 9:30 and the 7th grade pick up will be at 10:00 to 11:30. We will also hand out information that your son will need. All of the information is on the district athletic website (http://www.southlakecarroll.edu/cisd-athletics.aspx)
•  Before your son can practice he must have a noterized physical form on file.
• Aug 24th - First day of practice for 8th graders and first day of school.
• Aug 25th - First day of practice for 7th graders (t-shirt, shorts, and helmet).
• Aug 26th - Meet the coaches night at 6:00 in the cafeteria and the girls will be in the big gym.
• Aug 28th - First day of full pads

Equipment

• We supply the helmet, shoulder pads, pants, one mouth piece, chin strap, and pads. The only thing your child needs is football cleats (no metal). You must wear our helmet, becuase of liability issues. You can buy your own pants if you want to, but they have to be black. T-shirt and shorts must be dragon colors (green, black, gray, and white) during practice.

Practice Schedule

7th grade - The first day of school come dressed for school and no early practice. We will do a walk thru of a usual day. If you missed Equipment Day come at 8:00 to get your equipment.

8th grade will practice the first day of school till 5:00.

7th Grade - Usual Day

• Report time for practice - 6:30 a.m.
• On the field - 7:00 a.m.
• Practice ends - 9:00 a.m.
• Shower and get dressed from - 9:00 to 9:27 a.m.
• 2nd period begins - 9:27 a.m.
