PLAY REVIEW (2 pages, due May 23, TEST GRADE!)
*Proper Format 10 points
-Times New Roman, 12 pt. font
-Double-spaced, normal margins
*Answer the following questions:
1. What is the basic storyline? (please don't use a whole page telling me
the plot!) 10 points
2. How did the technical elements (set, lighting, costumes) help or hinder
the production? 20 points
3. How did the acting/characterization help or hinder the production?
20 points
4. How is the show relevant to modern society? (if you say it's not, you
won't receive any credit for this question!) 20 points
5. What is your overall opinion of this show? 10 points
*Correct spelling and grammar 10 points
*Attach a program or ticket stub (I will not accept you paper without some
proof you attended the show)
***You may NOT write about a show you were in. You must see a play (not a
ballet, concert, etc.), but any play is fine - church play, school play,
community theatre, or anything else that is a live production will be fine.
