Will I have homework?

Yes, there will be homework, but not every night.  Homework is important 
because it allows you to practice the skills learned in class.

How much writing will I have to do?

You will have one major essay each six weeks.  There will also be several 
minor essays each six weeks.

How about projects?

You will have several projects throughout the school year.  There will be a 
project connected with each novel we read during the year.

Will I have to do research?

Yes.  You will do several research projects throughout the year. Your firat 
research assignment will center on folktales from around the world. You will 
then move on to world landmarks.

Are there any ongoing assinments?

Yes. You will write a RICH letter every Friday during the school year and 
read outside of class for 120 minutes each week.
