Tuesday - Read the story "The Pony Express" to someone in your family. Answer
the questions sent home.
Wednesday - Science - Read pages C11 to C13. Answer the questions on Page C13
under Think About It.
Thursday - Study for your word wall test tomorrow.
R.I.O.T. minutes are due tomorrow.
Friday - Have a great weekend!
* I would advise all students to study their word wall words every night.
We do practice them at school but they need to practice at home too. Once
they have the word wall word on a test they should spell it correctly on
their work and in their writing. Word wall words are their spelling test. I
call them out orally and they write them down. We then have a dictation
sentence following the words.
*Students need to be practicing Math addition and subtraction facts.
Flash cards are a good tool to practice the facts.
*Please practice counting coins - pennies, nickels and dimes.
