2nd grade homework
Homework Tracker will come home every Friday and be due the following
Thursday. Every week the student will be expected to read at least 105
minutes. The children will be writing a summary in their tracker every week
over a book they have read. A "summary draft" page will come home each week
to guide them in the summary. Please help them to revise and edit before
they "pulish" by copying into their homework tracker.
They will also be making connections to literature they have read at home. A
draft paper for making connections will also come home for the children to
use.
Reading minutes should be initialed by parent. Additional homework
activities may also be included and will be written under "other homework
activities" at the bottom of the tracker page.
