Welcome to TAG!

Welcome to our school! The mission of the School for the Talented and Gifted is to provide an environment in which the unique worth, dignity, and abilities of each individual are not only recognized but cultivated and celebrated as well. We wish to provide an educational experience that empowers highly capable students to interact with their intellectual peers in academic, creative, aesthetic, and social endeavors in order to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow and to become life-long learners, responsible citizens, and contributors to the betterment of society as a whole in an ever-changing world. Our mission is also to take our students and provide them with the skills and cultivate their talents so they can accepted to the colleges/universities of their choice with the money to go there and to be successful at those institutions of higher learning.

The School for the Talented and Gifted is now entering its most exciting time when we accept applications and we choose the 60 applicants to fill our open slots for the 2010-2011 school year. If you are an exceptional academician and you have high expectations for your future, we hope you will consider us as your high school. If you are an excellent student, you can be successful anywhere if you possess the focus and the work ethic necessary to do college-level work as a high school student. I wish you good luck in the process of choosing where to apply; and if you choose TAG, I wish you good luck in your efforts to be accepted here.
