About Mrs. Lee

My younger brother and I grew up in Joshua, Texas with our mom and step-
dad.  I graduated from Joshua High School in 2001 and went on to graduate 
from Texas State University in San Marcos with a degree in Psychology in 
2006.  It was in college that I realized that my true passion was teaching, 
so I went back to school to get my teaching certification in 2007.  I am 
beginning my second year teaching Kindergarten and I am so excited to meet 
each and every one of my new students!

My husband, Kevin, and I got married on October 6, 2007.  We originally met 
in the 4th grade and went through all of our years in Joshua without ever 
getting to know each other.  A couple of years after high school, we re-
connected, finished college together, and the rest has been part of our 
happily-ever-after!  We live in Mansfield with our two yorkies, Texana and 
Krecie; they are a real HANDFUL!  Kevin is very involved in the fun times at 
school and I know that he will be excited to meet everyone as well! (He 
makes GREAT cookies for the kiddos' parties!)

When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading and working outside at our house.  
During baseball season, I am usually watching the Texas Rangers at home or 
at the ballpark.  I spend as much time as possible with my family and 
friends as well.  I feel truly blessed to be here at Willie Brown 
Elementary.  I love teaching and I feel that it is my true calling in life.  
I look forward to establishing great working relationships with each of my
