Kathy Thompson has a Bachelor's in English and a Master's in American
Studies from the University of Utah. She has taught writing classes for the
University Of Utah's Writing Program. She has worked as a technical
writer/editor at an aerospace firm.
She earned a secondary teaching credential in English and reading from the
University of Utah in 1995. She now teaches seventh grade core and GT
English at Wasatch with a strong emphasis on writing about literature. She is
the English mentor for the Academic Team and GT facilitator for Wasatch Jr.
She received her Gifted and Talented endorsement from Utah State University
in 2000.
