Welcome to Carter Lake Elementary, home of the Screaming Eagles. Nestled among the squadrons of McChord Air Force Base, Carter Lake takes pride in working with its community of learners to ensure academic and social achievement for all students. We will continue to maintain our level of distinction through continued partnerships, high expectations, and an unwavering commitment to the success for every child. Parents and community members are encouraged to volunteer in our school. Every effort or assistance in meeting our mission is appreciated and welcomed. Dress Code Reminder

Dress Code: The following guidelines apply to all students at Carter Lake:
Sandals must have a back strap, please no flip flops
No high heels or platform shoes
No midriff showing
No short skirts/shorts, length should be just above the child’s knee
Minimum width of 2” on shirt shoulder straps
No advertisement of drugs/alcohol/nicotine/sexual references/violence
No sagging
